Grown from the Golden plains of Victoria’s West, the sunny hills of South African suburbia and the rolling fields of Regional NSW. Aunty Blue are launching heart-first into Melbourne’s independent music scene.

Now based in Naarm/Melbourne, these four friends have joined forces to create music they like to call, Dreamy-Indie-Folk-Rock. It lies somewhere between the gritty melancholic cries of Sharon van Etten, groovy neo-soul tones of Tom Misch, and grounded by the smooth rhythms and sweetly phrased textures of good old Jeff Buckley.

Aunty Blue have emerged onto the Melbourne music scene with a heartfelt message of compassion, community and vulnerability. They aim to share this vulnerability with audiences, caressing the soul whilst grooving people's socks off. This new and emerging band has the gangly limbs of an awkward teenager but the heart of your sweet old neighbour and her Maltese poodle.
